Thanks to the flexible fast charger, all BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) can be quickly and reliably charged both at home and on the road using household and industrial sockets. With a wide range of interchangeable adapters, the flexible fast charger is compatible with common international outlets. It is designed according to BMW Group's quality standards and international regulations.

The flexible fast charger can be safely stored in the included cable bag within the vehicle. Existing outlets and new installations must comply with national legislation. Ensure that the cables, sockets, switches, and fuses are designed for continuous maximum charging current. BMW Group recommends using the charger only with outlets that have a dedicated residual current circuit breaker, which is not shared with other circuits.

All outlets and cables must be installed, checked, and maintained by qualified and authorized electricians. Make sure that the socket used is properly grounded.

This practical alternative to a Wallbox charger offers high performance in a compact design for home and on-the-go use. Thanks to various adapters, it can be adapted to different infrastructure conditions, allowing convenient charging from household and industrial outlets. Charging power of up to 11.0 kW (16 A, 3-phase for CE countries) is possible with industrial sockets (depending on the vehicle).

The charger’s body is compact, durable, and waterproof, with ergonomically shaped, sturdy plugs that fit comfortably in hand. Changing the adapter is easy and safe.
